Our Origin

In 2021, we came across an article explaining how saffron is widely grown in Iran using aeroponic techniques. Motivated by this, we tried developing the method in our own lab. The trials did not succeed, but the year became a valuable learning phase that shaped our practical, research-driven approach.

Early Breakthroughs

We focused on collecting field data and conducting hands-on research. Through continuous trials, we achieved early success in climate control for saffron cultivation. Mistakes became lessons, helping us understand temperature, humidity and growing conditions more accurately—bringing us closer to a reliable, controlled environment system.

Launch & Recognition

In 2023, we successfully developed and launched our first MVP in Gujarat. The project received strong industry attention and was inaugurated by a Union Minister. Over 600 visitors explored the model, helping us build valuable connections and grow our network value to ₹9 lakh between 2021 and 2023.

Founder's Story

The Road Ahead

After successfully cultivating saffron and learning from early failures, we expanded into indoor farming. We began growing exotic vegetables and received a strong market response. Encouraged by this success, we started training people in indoor farming practices.

From 2025, we entered outdoor farming to support traditional farmers. So far, we have worked across three states, covering 150 acres, achieving a ₹40 lakh turnover. Today, we operate as AASHVINA, turning traditional farming into smart and profitable agriculture.
